The sinhala new year .

      

            The  sinhala  new year is the mosd enjojble festival for all sihala buddhists. They celebrate  this festival on the 14'th of april every yesr.                                     The farmeas harvest their fields and storo grain for the coming celebrations. We whitewash our houses and polish the floors.we begin  to prepore oil cales and sweetmeats. On this day peoplo spend the time visiting the temples .

                    They put on new clothes.the children light fire crakers.the new year day is spent joyfully by all and  we hope the  next new yeor will still bea happier one.
